Facebook Photo of the Week 11/26 – 11/30
Happy Friday! I’ve been touring all of the fabulous bath and body products everybody has been posting on our Facebook page. There have been some super creative ideas and I found a totally adorable soapy photo-op idea that we just have to try out with the Bramble Bump (psst…have you voted in the Bramble Bump poll yet?). Now for the winner of this week’s Facebook Photo of the Week…
This week’s photo comes to us from Marcy of Kiku’s Creations. I was floored by how absolutely realistic her Rose Petal Soaps looked. Yes, those are soaps! I love the idea of using them as single-use soaps in a guest bathroom or as a special Valentine’s Day gift. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing soapy creation with us! Expect a special little package to be headed your way.

Facebook Photo of the Week 11/19 – 11/23
After a short work week and a great Thanksgiving celebration, I was browsing Bramble Berry’s Facebook page and realized it was time to pick our Facebook Photo of the Week (what a fun way to end my week)! We had so many fun photos to pick from this week and it was just so hard to pick one! Drum roll please…
This week’s photo comes to us of Juli of Inspiri Body. It really has an artistic flair to it and it reminded of some yummy artisan chocolates that I’ve seen (and eaten)! Juli said, “I used two techniques in one soap. First, I used a discoloring fragrance (Warm Vanilla Sugar) to my advantage and tried to make a Mantra Swirl from the Soap Queen Tutorial. It is not perfect, but I love how it came out!” I loved the techniques you used to make this soap work for you, Juli!

Facebook Photo of the Week 11/12-11/16
Lately I’ve really been getting into the holiday spirit. We even have Christmas music going at home (eh hem, I’m a sucker for the Glee Christmas Album). We’ve got so much to be thankful for around here. Our Christmas Tree is already up and Jamisen is just having a blast looking at all those twinkling lights. Speaking of cute little guys…
This week’s Facebook Photo of the Week comes from Mike of Soap Passion. Mike made these cute little gingerbread men following a Soap Queen tutorial and said, “These are one of my favorite soaps for the holidays, I just love the Gingersnap Fragrance Oil.” All the gals in the office agreed with me and we oohed and ahhed over these adorable little gingerbread men! Take a peek at more of Mike’s work here:
Thank you so much Mike for being part of our soaping community and being an active participant on our Facebook page. There’s a little package of goodies being sent your way, so keep your eyes peeled!
Facebook Photo of the Week
It’s the beginning of a brand new feature on the Soap Queen blog — Facebook Photo of the Week! Every week we will be choosing one photo from Bramble Berry’s Facebook page submitted by you and feature it in its very own blog post.
This week’s photo comes from Brooke of Her Best Apple. In this soap, Brooke used our Relaxing Fragrance Oil and said, “I just LOVE this FO, it smells awesome. It does turn cold process soap dark, but it smells so good that I can work with that!” I know how frustrating it can be to work with discoloring fragrances, but Brooke, you totally blew it out of the water with your positive attitude and gorgeous design! Check out some of her other soaps:

The Final Facebook and Instagram Photo of the Week
Since the Bramble Berry Facebook page started, people have always shared their creations on the wall. They share everything from bath bombs to soap, and we love every minute of it. In 2012, we started a competition called Facebook Photo of the Week to highlight our favorites. The winners were featured on the blog and also won a little package of goodies.
The first winner was Brooke with Her Best Apple. Her unique and creative bar is made with Relaxing Fragrance Oil. Read more in the very first Facebook Photo of the Week post.
Since then, there have been more than 215 winners! The talent and creativity of the soapmaking community is amazing. This year we decided to end the four-year-long contest. The blog will focus more on informative posts, tutorials and business posts. We are sad to see it go, but also excited to roll out new content on the blog. We are still planning to share photos on Facebook and Instagram, so keep sharing your creations. We love to see them! Here are some of our favorite Facebook Photo of the Week winners over the years past five years.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We definitely did. My sister-in-law hosted the entire family and it was such a treat to just show up with my side and the pie and not worry about all of the hosting details. I owe her for sure (and, next year will definitely be my turn to host again). My aunt made these insane cheese cookie things that she served with a pepper jelly. I probably ate 6 of them? Ooooooof. Eating healthy during the holiday season can be difficult. It really helps to have a support system. If you’d like to focus on healthy habits, join me + 30 others for a special “Best Holiday Ever” 21 day lifestyle challenge. Learn more about the challenge in this post. We are doing our pre-challenge planning right now and everyone is sharing their SMART goals in the private Facebook group.

This week the blog featured several tutorials using the new Seasonal Sweets Fragrance Collection. Now until November 18th, you can try the four 2 oz. fragrances in the Seasonal Sweets Collection for just $18.45. That’s over 30% off the price of buying them separately.
