I’ll be at Otion tomorrow teaching the Beginner’s Mineral Make Up Class. We’ll be focusing on Eye Shadow and Foundation. Some of the fun things I’ll be talking about are:
- The difference between an oxide and an FD&C color
- Why ‘Natural’ might not be natural
- The Color Wheel
Everyone will take home 4 eye shadows, customized just for them, that we make in class as well as the “Mineral Make Up Guide” that Bramble Berry publishes. In addition, we’ll cover foundations and let everyone work on blending their own foundation in class utilizing some bases we’ve already mixed up for you!
Class is just $35 and there are 2 more spots left. Sign up here.
cosmetic brushes says
It is very important to look good no matter where you are. You never know who you are going to meet and you need to make a good first impression. You never know if the person you have just met will be your future client, employer or even lover.
I would love to take this class!! But I don’t really feel like flying in from Belgium just for that 🙂 have you ever thought ’bout giving online classes? Sign me up if you do 😉
The class was fun, thanks Debbie and Brigette.
The 5 pound claim was debunked here:
The article was really interesting so I’m glad I got a chance to research the startling claim and learn more about the background and increase my knowledge base. =)
That said, I love making my own goodies because I can totally control my ingredients AND keep fillers out of my products. I love having that ability customize on the fly too.
natural cosmetics says
I personally love organic foundations and natural cosmetics because the thought of absorbing all of the chemicals into my skin does not interest me. The typical woman absorbs over five pounds of chemicals through her skin into her body from makeup.
Should be a great class.
This looks and sounds like so much fun! One more reason to move to Bellingham. Better get a realtor ready for me in July! 🙂
