Serves: 6 bars of soap

This simple recipe is made with alfalfa powder and spearmint essential oil.
Ingredients
  • 6 Cavity Goat Silicone Mold
  • 20 oz. Goat Milk Melt & Pour Soap Base
  • 0.3 oz. Spearmint Essential Oil
  • 3 tsp. Alfalfa Powder
  • 99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
Instructions
  1. Chop 20 oz. of Goat Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base into small, uniform cubes. Place them into a heat-safe container and melt in the microwave using 20-30 second bursts. Stir between each burst.
  2. Mix 3 tsp. of alfalfa powder with a splash of 99% isopropyl alcohol. Use just enough alcohol to be able to stir in the powder and get rid of chunks – about 2 tablespoons. Mix the alcohol and powder together until the chunks are gone.
  3. Add the alfalfa powder mixture to the melted soap base. Use a spoon to stir in the powder, making sure there are no chunks.
  4. Add 0.3 oz. of spearmint essential oil and use the spoon to thoroughly stir in.
  5. Pour the soap into the 6 Cavity Silicone Goat Mold. After each pour, spray the soap with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of any bubbles. Allow the soap to fully cool and harden.
  6. Remove the soaps from the mold. Cover in plastic wrap to prevent glycerin dew. Enjoy.
