Do you have a problem with the erasers bleeding in the soap? I did some a few months ago and they are now almost impossible to tell what they are.

    • Anne-Marie says:

Not at all – but maybe we have different erasers than you do? We tested ours pretty extensively before bringing in because I have had other plastic toys do that (and boy, isn’t it frustrating?!) =) Were you using the Bramble Berry erasers when they bled? If so, definitely let me know. I want to hear about it =)

What a great Easter basket “treat” for the kidos, and no sugar rush!

  4. Ashly says:

I would love to do this do you need to use the oil’s from bramble berry or can you get them at your local store?

  5. Hadley says:

Where on earth did u get those piggies??!!!!

  6. Heidi says:

Which loaf mold did you use 12 or 9 inch? Thanks.

  7. Angie says:

I love these Iwako erasers. The Unicorn ones are soooooo cute!
Have you tried using them after the soap has gone to see if they still work?

  8. Elizabeth says:

I was wondering how much clear and white soap base you would use if you only have the 9″ mold?

    • Courtney says:

Great question. The 12″ mold holds 4.5 pounds and the 9″ mold holds about 3.25 pounds of soap. Since this recipe has a total of 3 pounds, it will be cutting it close in the 9″ loaf mold (especially since you’re adding the piggies). Just to be on the safe side I would decrease each layer by 2-3 ounces.

I would try 5 ounces for the white soap layers and 14-16 ounces of the clear. Just make sure you have enough to completely cover the piggies.
